Any Gene, Any Tissue, Any Species with RNAscope™ Custom Probes

Now Available On-Demand!

Join ACD’s Custom Probe Design Team and UMB Neuroscience PhD Candidate Molly Pruitt as they share insights into the design and application of custom RNA probes for specific and sensitive detection of a variety of targets across many species.

In this webinar, we will provide an overview of ACD’s RNAscope in situ hybridization (ISH) technology and share considerations for non-common species, including Molly’s successful integration of these custom probes into her thesis research focused on prenatal THC exposure in ferrets.

After an overview of RNAscope and the custom probe design process, Molly will outline her research parameters and rationale for using RNAscope, discuss experimental design and implementation of custom probes into her workflow, share imagery generated and insights on the custom probe request form and process.

Learning Objectives:

  • General understanding of design strategies for different assay types
  • Workflow and application of made-to-order probe designs for detection in rare model species
  • Overview and guidance for New Probe Request (NPR) form fields and drop-down options
