No Antibody? No Problem. Characterize the Tissue Microenvironment with Single Cell & Spatial Context in Intact Tissues

The RNAscopeTM in-situ hybridization (ISH) technology provides a powerful method to detect gene expression with spatial and morphological tissue context. The proprietary “double Z” probe design in combination with the advanced signal amplification enables highly specific and sensitive detection of the target RNA with each dot visualizing a single RNA transcript.


The new RNAscopeTM HiPlex v2 assay can be used for simultaneous detection of 12 targets in FFPE tissues in addition to fixed frozen and fresh frozen tissues. Dr. Kjetil Ask's team from McMaster University (Hamilton, Canada) will showcase detection and characterization of up to 12 biomarkers in lung biopsy samples to study the dynamic crosstalk within the complex and heterogeneous tumor microenvironment (TME).

  • Megan Vierhout from Dr. Kjetil Ask's team will join us to provide a deep dive on their experience with the RNAscope Hiplex v2 Assay in characterizing 12 biomarkers simultaneously in lung biopsy samples.
